Algues & Mer was created in 1994.

Bought-out in 2007 by Guy Potier, with Jean-Noël Villemin associating in 2008, the company invested heavily, especially for a brand-new factory & a laboratory.

The company is involved in the economic activity of Ouessant Island, and creates qualified jobs.
